My midwife who helped me to experience birthing without
pain meds. I still can't believe I did it. Dad was very supportive
as well. I'm glad I was able to experience it.

This was Mine and Noelle's first night together in the hospital.
These two photos captured, I believe, her first realization that
her journey in this world had begun. She had arrived. She laid there
content just looking around and soaking it all up. So sweet.
So fresh from Heaven.

Brytinn tried hard to hold back her smile. She was very sensitive to just how special it was to have Noelle with us. Kamara got to take Noelle home with mom and dad while the other two had another sleep over at
Nani's. It was a nice evening just the four of us.

After Kamara got off to school, Joe and I were able to spend our first day home from the hospital alone with Noelle. I was overwhelmed with love, joy, and excitement. I just can't believe how precious and special these moments are, and how fortunate and blessed I am to be a part of these miracles and that her and I were healthy and everything went well. I am humbled by it all and overwhelmed with gratitude.

Tangled/Rapunzle invited Bell and Cinderella to the party. I did their hair in no joke 5 minutes, but I was still excited of how close I got it looking like the real thing :)

All that Amers wanted for her birthday was a 'tangled dress' she was so excited! I have never bought a princess dress for my girls :)...and I still haven't, grandmama bought this one, thanks! I don't know what it is, I think I am afraid if I buy one, I might have to buy all of them.

Cindy Loo Who!!!

Kamara was so excited! It was rewarding after the work to get this costume together. She just couldn't believe how much she looked like her (I couldn't either, I was probably just as excited as her:). She said, "this costume turned out way better than I ever thought, thank you thank you thank you mom!" (Fake bangs and some fake hair coming out of the braids, and a tyrofoam cone under her hair, fake eyelashes, a dress from target, a santa coat that was so easy to make, and some shiny eyeshadow on her nose for the complete cindy loo who look!)

I found this perfect Annie Dress at the thrift store. Brytinn was so excited, but super hesitant to let me spray her hair a little red...but finely she gave in. She also made sure to practice her Annie songs, she is a good little singer.

after the kids fun, it was off to Hannah's halloween party in Idaho. She got babysitters for all the kids and the adults had some halloween fun!

Joseph was a Salt Lake City Real Soccer player that has long dreads and is quite the playa:) So... desperate to coordinate costumes, I busted out a half cheerleader half ref costume.

After some convincing on my end, Kody roes to the ocassion dressed as a flapper girl! It was a hit! No one could take him seriously all night, every time he talked we just cracked up, it was way fun.

So, Joe and I got all fancy and headed to SLC to eat at the Roof for our 7 year anniversary. It was a wonderful night! I also brought around my birthday present, a new camera! So we had a minny photo shoot on Temple square

We ate at the restaurant at the perfect time!! We got there to see the sun shining bright and watched the sunset and as it got dark the temple lights turned on. The food was Heavenly (to go along with the temple of course) and the pianist played the most romantic music.

Joe got off work early on Monday and we headed up the canyon to Sundance! It was gorgeous!! I was in ah! Love the seasons! (some more than others;) For sure want to make this a family tradition.

Brytinn was born on my Grandpa Buzz's Birthday. I flew out to CO on her birthday to celebrate my Grandpa's 80th birthday with the family. Before I left, I took the girls out for a birthday breakfast at Mimi's cafe. It was a blast. We took our time, the kids loved it!

This is the girls just dancing around outside of the restaurant eating their mints. It was a special morning. As I sat and watched my sweet girls enjoy the music, the sun and each other, I was so grateful for life and for my sweet angels and how much joy they bring me.

So, I was so excited Brytinn was game for a Butterfly birthday! These our the wings I made her and of course the antennas on her head.

Kamara had the brilliant idea that mommy and daddy put on wings too!

The sister's love and support her so much. I asked Brytinn if she was excited to go to kindergarten and she said no, Amarie on the other hand cried and insisted on staying when it was time to go after dropping Kam off.

The fourth of july, carry underwood, stadium of fire! Lot's of fun...kamara said, "Why does this same girl just keep singing over and over?" We'll for sure wait to go again till the girls are a bit older:)

This was the day of my 1/2 Marathon! IT was awesome, didn't do that good of a job of capturing the excitement, but at least wanted one picture from it.

Winding down summer fun!!

We have had a blast this summer. We have spent lots of visits with Hannah's family, it has been wonderful! This is the kiddo's at our favorite pool...the Lindon pool.

Then we got to go to Idaho and watch Aunt Hannah sing the National Anthem at the Preston Rodeo for over 10,000 people! It was so exhilarating!

Then, Heath and Hannah brought the fam out for a day at the water park. (my mom and her boyfriend won us free tickets, oh yea!) Uncle Kody and Dan came along to help out with the kids, thanks guys!

Megan's Wedding!!

It was quite the get away! My kids stayed in Idaho with Aunt Hannah, Uncle Heath and cousins. Joe and I had a blast at the wedding. It was pure FUN starting with our gift bag at check-in to the hotel and ending with breakfast the next morning with friends and the Bride!

Me and my girls!! Oh it was so wonderful to be with them all again. True friends through grade school and forever. Beautiful inside and out!

The stunning bride arrived on a horse carriage and offered rides to the guests after the ceremony.

The dinner was delicious! with Great company! Also, the maids of honor gave the best toast...from the bond of sister hood to the bond of marriage...so sweet.

I had so much fun dancing the night away! and Joe was by my side 99% of the time, thanks babe, you rock! Me and my girlfriends have so many memories of dancing together, it was so fun to be at it again.

So, Monday night, we took the girls to hike the Y! Joe and I fell in love hiking the Y about 7 years ago. It was exciting to share the experience with our three little tough cookies!! It was so much fun! The perfect family activity. Amarie, two years old, set the standard...she is such a brute! She hiked the entire way, it was so awesome. The older two just kept telling themselves, if she can do it, we can do it. They all did it on there own two tiny feet! The hike is about 2.5 miles total, and it is a switch back trail and steep! As you can tell, I'm a proud impressed mom:) You go girls!!

Had to add these pictures in. I just thought the wedding party looked so good. I loved the idea of their necklaces. Instead of hanging in the front, they hung down on their back, loved it!

Kamara's FIVE

So, it all started as a mermaid slip and slide birthday...then I got a little carried a way, it was a ton of fun! (I asked Kam before the party, "are you excited for the slip and slide?" and she responded with concern in her voice, "yea, but I really want to learn how to zip all of my coats and tie my shoes before kindergarten." The responsibilities were setting in of growing older, so cute.

I made all the girls mermaid tails and dressed them up with sea shell necklesses and glitter

Then it was off to the 'beach' for a mermaid scavenger hunt. The girls loved this part! They dug in the sand and searched for rubies, sea shells, crystals, treasures, and little sea creatures. They couldn't get enough of it. The girls then turned in a treasure for the exchange of a surprise...a flower ring.Baby Makayla and her cousin Amarie At her party we also had a mermaid race (I tied their feet together and they had to hop), crab race, Limbo "under the sea", crafts, and snacked on blue ocean jello with sea weed cucumbers and pickles and fish crackers:)

The girls and I made this cake. It looked pretty good, however, it tasted pretty yucky:) Kamara requested a coconut cake...I need a new recipe for that one.

The day after the friend party, we had a family cake and ice cream party, and it was a blast! Kamara has some great adult friends...thanks Kody, Reed, Dan, Sam, Naomie, Sam, Julia, Spence, Bonnie (in non of the pics cuz she took most of the pictures for me, thanks Bonnie), Papa and Nannie, and grandma Simmons for lovin our girls so much and always showin them a fun time!

Dan and Kody got the girls kites. It was super windy, we had a blast flying them. Kam got the T Rex Kite, she loves dinosaurs.

After the kite flying, Kody whipped out Kamara's bike that he fixed, only there was no training wheels on it! So the boys taught Kam how to ride a bike! After a few tumbles and laughs, Kamara's determination brought her out on top! After two days of practice, my little girl (I write this almost with tears:) can now ride a bike...You are precious Kam. Love you Sweetie, Happy Birthday!!!

Spring Break: MOAB

So, ever since winter (and it seems a lot of spring) was so bitterly and utterly cold!!! I have been wanting to somehow get to the heat a little faster. I knew we needed to drive south! So for Kamara’s first ever spring break from ‘school’, we took our first family vacation to Moab! It was a blast! We were debating whether or not to go, I didn‘t know if the girls were too little to get much out of moab, and money, and bla bla bla…We were in Moab but a couple minutes, and I already knew it was going to be worth every cent!

The road trip was just the right length for my sweet husband:) minutes before Moab we saw a huge sand dune off the side of the road and stopped to explore, it was a blast…an awesome beginning to our arrival.

Then we got to our hotel, I was way impressed, it was perfect. There was a ton of land off the back of the out door pool, a park, grills, picnic tables, great playground, a beautiful view, and the biscuits and gravy were almost as good as Paul’s ;)

It was an exciting first day.

Saturday was our first shot at hiking Arches National Park with the little ones. We had no idea what to expect. It was awesome! Every hike was so different. We went to landscape arch first, on daddy's behalf (I thought I'd combine his least favorite thing, hiking, with his most favorite, this arch is the length of a football field:) The girls were able to ride in the jogging stroller for this hike only.

We couldn't go under this arch cuz about 20 years ago a huge section of it came crashing down, it is barely holdin on.

I thought this picture was cute...we asked Kam to take it. Her first try was mostly us and she didn't get the arch, so we told her to only get the top half of our bodies so she could get the arch. This shot is her second attempt. I must say she follows directions quite well:)

The second arch we went to had a sandy trail and the girls hiked most the way. The order of hikers in this picture reversed a few yards up the trail.

This arch we got to run around under it and do a lot of climbing, it was a blast. The girls first true hike. A lot of hiking memories from my childhood came back.

After hiking it was back to the pool. Then Joe wanted to get the girls jewelry before we went to the fancy restaurant on a cliff that looked like it was about to topple over! called Sunset Grill.

The view was gorgeous. We had a random man take the kissing pic, it was awkward and hilarious. I love the one of me and my girls looking at the sunset...I was bummed it was blurry. My 2 mega pics camera just couldn't cut it:(

I thought this picture should be on an add for the restaurant, after all it is called 'sunset' grill. Bring your shades:) The sun was blinding me for a few minutes before it set, but luckily I wore my glasses on my head that night for pure fashion... well, they came in handy.

Well, the next day, i relaxed with the picture taking. We hiked to two more arches. The first one was window arch and it had about 150 stairs (Kam counted:) on the trail up to the arch (about .5 miles) and Amarie insisted on walking up every stair the whole way, I was soo impressed. She walked all the way down too. Then we went to sand dune arch, it was awesome!! it was right off the road and super fun to play at! Over all, the girls did great!!! Brytinn was a tough cookie and Kam wanted to climb so high, she was scarin us. Joe and I had so much fun together. Thanks to his hard work day in and day out, I was able to plan this trip. I love you babe. You are my best friend!

Kamara had a Halloween party at pre-school, so all the girls dressed up in their pretty, not so warm;) ballet costumes (Amarie was a pumpkin Ballerina)
After pre-school we went and saw Kody at his work, he was so sweet, making the girls feel extra special.

We had fun carving pumpkins...joe tied in football to the evening by carving a 'Y' and the girls had fun with the seeds and mess, and I...well, i probably ate 98% of the pumpkin seeds all myself...what can I say, they were healthy and yummy!

Amarie could not believe it! just walk up to the door and get another piece of candy, she was so excited, and kept up with the girls quite well!

Yes, the laimest costume for last...it is so not like me not to dress up! :( but my husband was bahumbug about dressing up and I couldn't get excited enough to put it together. However, last minute, with my spirited personality, I through together some halloween colors: orange, black and an accent of purple:) I was "the spirit of halloween" After trick-or-treating we went to a party with Devin and Nicki's family, they are so sweet. Nicki and Devin are such good friends, so fun to just chill with and our kids have a lot of fun together

Anniversary Get Away

Joe and I went to Park City for our anniversary(one night)...we had a ton of fun together...shopped the outlets, viewed the amazing art, laid out by the pool, played tennis, and just enjoyed being together.

Yes, the room even provided robes...not to mention a full size jetted tub by our bed and a steam shower:)

However, Joe was so tired, it was a struggle for him to stay awake...he fell asleep at 11:00

Joe's shirt and sunglasses are from the outlets...what do you think? His shirt has wolverine on it, i like it.Bonnie and Spencer were SOOO kind to watch the girls. Saturday night they met us in Park City and we went on the Alpine slide, the girls loved it!

We went out to eat after and it was super yummy, unfortunately, Bonnie, Spencer, and Joe all got food posioning:(

Brytinn is THREE!!

We took Brytinn to a water park for her birthday, Seven Peaks. It was a blast. Kody came with us so there was an adult for every kid. It was a special day.

Preston Idaho!

What a fun and special trip! We are so excited for Heath and Hannah. Idaho/Preston was so awesome! These two pictures are right outside there house

The nights were a little crazy. All the kids in this tiny room crammed with boxes and no AC, it was pretty dang hot.

We got to go to the yummiest mexican food joint( I got the chili rellano burrito, umm) and the hotsprings with Hannah's dream water slide:) Then on Sunday we went and visited grandma nancy's cousin and Great Great Aunt Wanda. It was a blast! Their property and yard was amazing and the kids had so much fun.

Ron made us the yummiest brunch! The kids got mickey mouse pancakes and the adults got the yummiest potatoes with sausage and halapanos, pancakes, bacon, eggs...so yummy and so sweet of them to go all out. It was wonderful to meet more family and have that connection.

We survived the late road trip with Mr. Grinch- aka Joe, and got in at 3:30 AM Friday morning. Rod and Sandy had made a nice room for us to stay in. The girls slept in till 8:00AM and were told Nautica was waiting to see them. Soon it was time for the parade!

When Grandmama got there, Brytinn gave her the longest sweetest hug...it was so good to see her...seeing as how hannah, daisy, and destin were all absent:( Mom ran the race 'with me' and beat me by exactly a minute...big surprise eh

The FOURTH!!!

The fun started Thursday night when Kody took us camping in his 8 man tent. In spite of the rain, we headed up the canyon...the weather turned out great, it was a little muddy so little Amers enjoyed her carrots dipped in mud

The girls were so excited to eat the hot dogs, but the boys were hesitant to start the fire seeing as how there was a sign stating "no open fires"...well, we didn't get in trouble and they were the best tasting hot dogs.

Kody left for work at 5:30 in the morning on his motorcycle, so it was up to us and the girls to pack up in the morning.

The first thing joe said in the morning was, "that just reaffirmed the fact that I hate camping" Come to find out he didn't mean it and he wants us to go camping as a family for sure one more time this summer, except this time, he wants to be the man in charge, and i am bring a pad for my boney body to sleep on:)

After a two hour nap, we headed to our new favorite pool in Lindon. We love it! It was a beautiful day.

We can't quite pin point it, but the fourth is for sure one of our favorite holidays. After dolling ourselves up, we headed to the parade where Spencer saved us a prime spot!(he was there saving our spot at 4AM in the morning)

Amarie was the star at the parade, fearless and independent, she marched out on to the street on beat and looking cuter than ever!

Brekk and TJ and their family joined us at the parade, and then they had us over for a barbeque that evening keeping the tradition alive, thanks guys.

Kamara's birthday celebrations!

I asked Kamara what kind of birthday party she wanted to have and she said "care bears" i was thrilled! Before the birthday party, i made Kamara's favorite dinner..."broccoli chicken and cheese with rice" The girls and i were counting down for the party to begin...when the kids arrived we had them slide down the zip line swing/rainbow that Charley made into our home/care-a-lot...then we educated the kids on what care bears are since they are kinda fading out. Each girl was givin a tummy symbol and then we played musical clowds.

and Naomi did an awesome job of face painting for us

Sunday, we had a family/mommies friends:) barbecue. Joe made some super yummy chicken and i made the salmon and cake. Becky and Tim came with all their kids and brought the most thoughtful homemade presents including pictures, a cape, and mini quilts...so cute.

Amarie started walking about a week ago, so much fun. She loves the trampoline and lets her sisters bounce her quite high. She also loves playing catch. Her favorite food is pizza, or really anything Italian. Her first word was 'Uh Oh'

Joe was so cute...he thought of the cutest idea..."Fancy Nancy" night out with the girls. "Fancy Nancy is a childrens book series about a little girl who likes to do everything fancy. Anyway, we went on a fancy date together. Notice my fancy bow and Joe's fancy neckless.

Dad made a BYU snow woman with the girls. I couldn't believe they actually did it, the snow was horrible for building a snowman, but daddy stuck it out for the girls

The girls got to go to a beauty salon pageant, I forgot the camera, so this is when we got home. At the pageant they were dressed up in their princess dresses and they even got sashes.

Sweet Kamara fell asleep on the couch. We were all napping one Sunday, she helped herself to the "Jesus video" and then made herself cozy on the couch and finally went to sleep.

Matching holiday dresses

this is the awesome "snowflake" we learned how to make because we are on the activities committee. We used them to decorate for our chirstmas activity. Then we came home and hung them in our own window.

Halloween 2008

The day before Halloween we had a nice visit with family. Grandma Simmons made us soup and yummy juice. The girls had a lot of fun over there. Brytinn liked the pumpkin bread!

We did it, all three of the girls.

When we went to visit uncle spence and aunt Bonnie, we got to decorate sugar cookies. The girls loved it, especially the sprinkles!

Grandpa and Grandma Morin treated us to some healthy apples, that was a treat for mom;)

Brytinn woke up from her nap bright eyed and ready to go get some candy. All Halloween season we kept asking her what she wanted to be for Halloween and she would always say, "i anna be a Dinosaur" She was a great sport with the ducky:)

Kamara was really nervice about me and my poison apple. I told her she better watch out and she really did. She kept saying, "mom, i'm not going to take a bight. Mom, who is going to wake me up from my sleep. mom, is your apple done yet." she was very concerned about the whole thing.

We had the funnest night! Thanksgiving Point has the funnest "cornbelly" halloween celebration thingy. The girls loved it. The Pumkin princess area was kamara's favorite. she was in princess heaven, with costumes to dress up in, a princess castle to jump in and a real live princess to visit with:) This place is awesome! and once again...yummy food, very important. There was a pig race, cow train ride, big slides, mazes, swings, haunted house thingy, and more...anyway...

my favorite was the big bouncy pillow thingy that Kamara is playing on in that picture(Green jumpy thing) anyway, i got to tumble on it!
I was a pro again...backflips, arials, frontflips, handsprings toe touches....the real deal! It was a blast for me. I couldn't get enough of it...my back kinda hurts now but it was worth it.

Olive Garden! It was the perfect meal, and we each ordered drinks:) thanks to the sweet gift card from heath and hannah. We licked our plates clean, yum yum.

Why we ate, our rings were being cleaned and polished. they looked so nice...we felt like newly weds all over again. FIVE YEARS.

Joe surprised me with tickets to a romantic and awesome concert, Kalai. Look his music up on youtube, he is awesome! look up "divide me" and "on my mind"...anyway, it turned out to be an amazing concert. He is so talented.

Amarie got sick. So 5 minutes away from our get away, and we had to turn around and head home. Our little babe gave us all a scare. Park City had to wait...maybe next year.

My birthday present from Brekk...she took us out on the lake. It was so much fun. I had a cold, but i took some medicine, which i never do, and was able to ski like a champ:)

Little Brytinn loves holding Amarie. She calls her "Ammy"! Daddy loves his girls too, whether or not they ever learn to appreciate football like they should. They are precious and mean the world to us!!

This is little Amarie Janay the day that she was born. She was 6 lbs 4 oz and 19 inches long. She was so darling right from the start. Mom popped her out in like ten minutes so she was shaped perfectly! So far her eyes are still blue like Kamara's, but they may still change. We can't tell what color her hair will be, because so far, like all our other babies were, she is relatively bald. Since leaving the hospital, she has put on weight much quicker than either Brytinn or Kamara did. She was two ounces over her birth weight when we left the hospital two days later. She talks to us in baby talk already and smiles whenever she sees us after waking up or when daddy comes home. She loves to be held, and especially by Mommy! Right after Amarie was born, the girls were so excited they could not stop yelling "Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby!" Brytinn must have said it a bagillion times. They both wanted to hold her and still love holding her.

This was quite the memorable time, right before Brytinn was added to the family. Jos was about six months pregnant, though its hard to tell in these pictures. These were taken at Isla Verde, Luquillo (our favorite local and relativey unknown beach with the softest sand in the world), and at an old Spanish fort. Kamara was almost one. She was fearless and learned how to swim on her own, without floaties. She also loved to eat the sand. She was the cutest baby on the whole island and people always stopped to talk to her on the beach. Dad worked for APX that summer and we had a great time.

Kamara is the sweetest little girl. Usually people notice her for her striking beauty, but her inner beauty surpasses that; she is bright, alive, caring, and precious on the inside as well. She always gets excited when I come home from work or school and is the first to run and jump on me, showering me with hugs and kisses. She always asks me to cuddle with her too. We are a tight daddy/daughter combo. Don't mess!

I am so in love with my girls. They are soooo beautiful and tons of fun. The day after the fourth was relaxing and memorable. We played in the back yard in our fun little pool nestled in our own Garden of Eden. Yes, we know where it is. It was a fun family day with popsicles, dancing, singing, and water fights. It's the little things that make all the hard work sooo extremely worth it!

On the fourth of july, joe and i got up early with amarie and went to the 5k race. I placed 27th out of 115 in my category...pretty good...i fail to mention my time:) then we raced home after the race to get the girls for the parade. At the parade Kamara was patting her cheeks and saying, "what is that guy with this...pat pat pat..." I had no idea what she was talking about...then she said, "mom, i think that was Nephi" so i looked up at the float that just passed by and sure enough it was Lehi and his family heading to the promise land. She was referring to Lehi's beard by patting her cheeks. I can't believe how smart she is some times. Then later that day we were so excited that daddy got off work early, i've never seen the girls so hyper. We went to Brekk and TJ's for a barbecue and a fun swim in their little pool...then off to the fire works. Things really couldn't have gone smoother for our Fourth celebration this year. God bless the USA!
